Meet Arwen! Arwen’s mom, Nicole, was in a terrible car accident where her car was thrown into a ditch and rolled several times. Nicole was rushed to St. John’s while paramedics couldn’t find Arwen’s heartbeat. At the hospital, it was discovered that the crash had induced labor. Doctors predicted Arwen being born and quickly passing away. Weighing only 1 pound 6 ounces, Arwen was born and let out a tiny squeak telling her mom that she would be ok. After 136 days in the NICU, Arwen was finally able to go home.
