In 2024, many students worked together year-round to raise funds and awareness for our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, St. John’s. People of all ages and backgrounds participate in our program. From freshmen to seniors, alumni, partners, family members, friends of a student at the University of Illinois, residents of Urbana-Champaign and its surrounding areas, or even out of state, there is a place for everyone to become involved in IlliniThon.

 

Do you want to participate in the IlliniThon movement? The first step is to register, which you can do by clicking here. Please email our Recruitment Directors, Mia Waters and Donica Basica, at illinithon.recruitmentteam@gmail.com or our External Vice President, Cate McCarty, at illinithon.evp@gmail.com with any questions in regards on how to sign up yourself, a group of friends, RSOs, athletic teams, sororities, or fraternities! Individual participants and teams will be assigned to a Miracle Cup team once they are registered. Miracle Cup is IlliniThon’s new and improved year-long competition for all of its registered members. During the duration of the year, members will be placed on one of 6 different color teams and will compete against the other teams, revealing the top team at different checkpoints to win prizes and exclusive merchandise. Members will receive points throughout the whole year for attending meetings and events, registering friends, hitting fundraising goals, posting on social media, and more! We encourage general members to raise $125 by the time of the Big Event. We know that this amount might seem intimidating. However, IlliniThon will have many fundraising opportunities that will make raising $125 extremely manageable. You can also check out our "Fundraising" tab for tips on how to properly fundraise!
